Community of Faith Church in Roanoke, Virginia

Community of Faith is a purpose driven church whose members are committed to the ministry of Jesus Christ. Below is a list of ministries that continues to grow not only in numbers, but more importantly, in Spirit. As you continue to attend our worship, we expect the Lord to begin to teach you about your spiritual gifts and how you can best serve Him, the church, and others like the old you who don't yet know what an awesome God we have! That is the goal of ministry on every level - to be Christ's ambassadors to an unchurched world. If you've already been attending for a while, think about taking CF101 and pray that God would reveal in what areas of ministry he is calling you to participate.

Children's Ministries

	Music - One of the most worshipful parts of our service is the time we spend lifting up God in song. Perhaps God has given you musical talent that you should be using for His glory. Pray about it and meet with our Music Director, Rebecca McMahon, about how you could add to our praise time filled with a sweet medley of your favorite hymns and contemporary choruses.
	Drama - Maybe you have true acting talent or maybe you're just a ham. In either case, you can be used in a powerful way in our church's drama ministry. Memorize your part, learn your lines, get into character, and become a part of our next production, monologue or skit. It's just another way we like to remind you that church is fun. Break a leg for Jesus!
	Greeters/Ushers - We strive to be a hospitable church, and while we expect everyone to be welcoming and approachable, our greeters and ushers are the cream of the friendly crop! Has God given you one of these gifts that keeps on giving? We'd love for you to be here and share your smile, your handshakes, and your hugs on Sunday mornings.
	Communion - At Community of Faith, we celebrate communion on the first Sunday of every month. As long as you believe that Jesus Christ is God's son, who died on the cross for your sins, then you are our brother or sister and you are welcome to join us for communion. Be sure to let a pastor know if you are interested in helping serve the elements.
